Three New Reserve Deputies Sworn In

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the swearing in of three new Reserve Deputies, their names include:

  • Troy Edmunds
  • Taylor Winter
  • Travis Winter

The Reserve Deputies will be sworn in by Judge Shepherd on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:30 PM. The ceremony will take place inside the 2 nd Floor Courtroom of the Courthouse. Family, friends and the public are welcome to attend the ceremony.

Lane closure on U.S. 30 between Wheatland and Calamus begins on Feb. 10

posted 2/5/25 · Secondary Roads If you travel on U.S. 30 between Wheatland and Calamus you should be aware of a lane closure that could slow down your trip, according to the Iowa DOT’s Davenport construction office. Beginning on Monday, Feb. 10, until December 2025, weather permitting, crews will close one lane of U.S. 30 between Clinton County Road Y-4E/130th Ave. near Wheatland, and Clinton County Road Y-44/170th Ave. near Calamus, for the replacement of three bridges over the Wapsipinicon River.
